Project Overview

This flagship project evaluates the accessibility, quality, and effectiveness of maternal and child health services in rural Tanzania. Using a mixed-methods approach, we assess service delivery across health facilities, identify barriers to care, and document best practices for improving maternal and child health outcomes.

The research incorporates facility assessments, household surveys, and qualitative interviews with healthcare providers, mothers, and community leaders. Our findings are informing the Ministry of Health's strategy for strengthening maternal and child health services in underserved regions.

Community-Based Malaria Prevention and Control Study

Project Overview

This community-based study evaluates innovative approaches to malaria prevention and control in high-transmission settings. The research employs a cluster-randomized design to compare different implementation strategies. Our preliminary results show significant reductions in malaria prevalence and improved treatment-seeking behaviors in intervention communities.
